Camping!

If you enjoy camping, we have reserved the group campsite at Birch Bay State Park from Friday through Sunday night as a free option for our guests. It has lovely tall trees and a covered shelter and is very close to the beach. Regardless of whether or not you'd like to camp pre-wedding, we hope you’ll join us there for a Saturday night BBQ and Bonfire on the beach!

A shuttle to and from the wedding will be provided for those camping at Birch Bay on Sunday night. It’s 11 miles north from the wedding venue.

For the townies

The very cool Heliotrope Hotel in Bellingham is a new boutique hotel in town, walking distance to several breweries. We have reserved the whole hotel for the weekend to guarantee your place. Rooms are $104-$154 per night. Use the code "FurmanBartholomew19" or mention you’re with the Furman or Bartholomew party and you can get a 10% discount on your room if booked 30 days in advance.

Heliotrope is just 10 miles to the wedding venue, if you take the scenic route, which we highly recommend. This is the way Kate bikes to work!

Classing it up

The Chrysalis Inn is very nice for the price — right on the water and located in adorable historic Fairhaven. Rooms start at $219 per night, and I hear that happy hour in their bar is the best view of the bay in the city.

Not exactly cheap, but still easy

The Silver Reef Casino on the Lummi Reservation is not somewhere we’ve ever actually been, but it is only 2 miles from the wedding venue. Rooms appear to be $189 per night, and they probably don’t sell out in case you need a last-minute option.
